We are excited to announce a strategic partnership with Al-San Food | Meram Flour, one of Türkiye’s leading flour producers, focused on sustainable and innovative raw material supply. This collaboration represents a significant step toward innovation and sustainability in the paper packaging industry.

By preventing deforestation, we create a circular business model connecting the agriculture and paper industries. Using annual crops as a source of fiber, we develop paper-based biomaterials that require less energy and water consumption, aligning closely with global sustainability goals. Furthermore, we valorize the by-products of flour production, transforming them into paper-based biomaterials and products with high added value.

By combining Grinove Materials’ expertise in biomaterials innovation with Al-San Food | Meram Flour’s strong manufacturing capabilities, we aim to set new standards in compostable packaging solutions. This partnership highlights our mutual commitment to addressing climate challenges and promoting sustainable practices across the packaging industry.

We are proud to announce has been honored with the Climate Leaders Award at the 3rd Climate Leaders Award Ceremony held by Bizim Dünyamız Vakfı on November 25, 2024, at the Istanbul Cinema Museum. This prestigious recognition highlights our continued commitment to sustainability  and innovation.

Bizim Dünyamız Vakfı, founded in 2019, is a non-profit organization based in Istanbul, dedicated to combating climate change through initiatives focused on clean water, clean soil, and clean air. The foundation actively raises awareness and supports sustainable development through campaigns addressing marine, environmental, and air pollution, soil protection, afforestation, combating desertification, and promoting food security.

We are proud to announce that Grinove Materials has become the World Champion in the 2024 JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur (CYE) Competition, making history as Türkiye’s First compostable packaging manufacturer to achieve this global recognition.

Our journey began with first place in JCI CYE Türkiye, leading us to the European Championship at the JCI European Conference 2024 in Oulu, Finland. Representing our country on the world stage at the JCI CYE World Final in Taoyuan, Taiwan, we proudly won the Creative Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, marking a major milestone for both our company and Türkiye’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This achievement validates our vision of producing compostable packaging free from tree-based fibers and toxic components by valorizing agricultural byproducts from annual crops such as wheat and barley. With our innovative and nature-friendly solutions, we are taking another step toward a sustainable future.

Throughout this journey, we connected with +5,000 people from over 80 countries, expanding our global business network and opening doors to new partnerships, investment opportunities, and collaborations. This incredible experience has further strengthened our commitment to sustainable innovation.

Competing among 10 outstanding finalists from across Europe, we had the opportunity to showcase our innovative business model, exchange ideas, and build valuable connections with like-minded entrepreneurs. The friendships and collaborations we formed during this journey will continue to inspire us as we move forward.

The JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur (CYE) Türkiye 2024 competition, held on April 26–28 by JCI İzmir, brought together Türkiye’s most promising startups. As participants, we had the opportunity to showcase our business model, connect with key industry leaders, and gain valuable insights to refine our strategy. The event served as a dynamic platform where we engaged with mentors, received expert feedback, and strengthened our vision for global success.

We proudly were awarded first place in JCI CYE Türkiye 2024, earning the honor of representing our nation at the JCI CYE European Final, following a challenging process. We will take the stage at the JCI European Conference 2024, in Oulu, Finland, on June 12–16, where we will present our startup among Europe’s most innovative entrepreneurs. Our goal is to take this journey even further and compete in the World Final in Taiwan, carrying our vision to the global stage.

JCI CYE provides an incredible opportunity for entrepreneurs to expand their network, gain international exposure, and take their business to the next level. We are excited to represent Türkiye and share our innovation with the world.

At the 6th Imagine Tomorrow 2024 – International Entrepreneurship and Innovation Event, held on February 27–28, we were honored to receive the Green Startup Award as Grinove, recognized by leading names in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Imagine Tomorrow, organized as part of the EURIE 2024 Higher Education Summit, was held for the sixth time this year. Out of over 200 applications, 50 successful startups were selected to participate, along with 20 young entrepreneur candidates in the Young Entrepreneurship category, which aims to promote innovation and entrepreneurship at an early age. A distinguished jury, consisting of key stakeholders from the Turkish entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, awarded over 30 startups across various categories.

We had the opportunity to present our sustainable solutions to industry leaders and supporters, as well as connect with potential collaborators at this prestigious event. Hosted by Istanbul Aydın University and Technology Transfer and Project Management Office Inc., the event proved to be an incredibly valuable experience for us. We are excited to continue our journey toward a more sustainable and innovative future!

As Grinove, we were excited to be part of SahneXL, an event that brought together key stakeholders from across the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Engaging with industry leaders, investors, and innovators, we had the opportunity to present Grinove and share our vision with a global network.

Among the top 5 incubation centers in the world, the BTM – Bilgiyi Ticarileştirme Merkezi, we introduced Grinove to all key players in the startup ecosystem, highlighting our commitment to sustainability and innovation.

As the Grinove Family, we approached the Sahne XL preparation process as an intensive development program. This journey allowed us to gain momentum in a short time, refine our messaging, and strengthen our business strategy. With valuable feedback from mentors and industry leaders from various sectors, we successfully positioned ourselves for future growth.
